The Odd Life of Timothy Green (Comedy, Drama, Fantasy – PG):
While this movie looks very cute, I’m having flashbacks of Powder. Anyone who saw that movie pretty much already knows how this one will end. That’s a guess, but I don’t think it’s wrong. That said, I would rather cry in the comfort of my own home. So DVD movie.
The Expendables 2 (Action, Adventure – R):
Three names: Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Bruce Willis. Enough said. The first one may have been stupid as hell, but I am definitely going to see the second one. Who knows maybe they learned from their mistakes. 😛
Sparkle (Drama, Musical):
Oh good… another Motown dysfunctional story. That’s okay. Pass.
ParaNorman (Animation, Adventure, Fantasy, Horror – PG):
Another kid horror movie. I love this genre because it eases kids into the horror genre without freaking them out too bad. It’s almost like a gateway drug. 😛
